Padam Embroidery Mart

We are located in Shop Number 2 at Sai Samrudhi in Bhayander East. It’s a small shop but we keep it packed with all sorts of threads and fabrics. Embroidery is a slow process and you need a lot of patience for it. We spend our hours sitting and working on different patterns for clothes. People from the neighborhood bring their sarees or suits when they want some extra work done on them. The light in the shop isn't always the best in the evening so we have to use extra lamps to see the fine details. Bhayander is always crowded and the street outside our shop is never quiet. We’ve been here for quite some time now and seen many shops come and go. Our machines hum throughout the day and sometimes we do a lot of handwork too. It’s dusty work sometimes with all the fabric lint flying around. We don't have a big staff just a couple of us who know how to handle a needle and thread properly. We don't do any big advertisements or anything fancy like that. If someone likes what we did for their neighbor they eventually find their way to Sai Samrudhi. We just try to finish the work on time so people can wear their outfits for weddings or festivals. It’s a simple living but we enjoy seeing the finished designs. Sometimes the thread tangles or a machine breaks but we just fix it and keep going.
