P L Bhattrai is located over in Bhandup West. You can find us at C 608 in Usha Nagar. It’s a residential complex, so it feels very much like a neighborhood spot. We’ve been here for quite some time. The office is really just a converted room where we keep all the records and the computer. It’s usually just me or maybe one other person around. People in Usha Nagar know us pretty well. We don't have any big signs out on the main road. Most people just know which door to knock on. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan going all day. The desk is always covered in notes and folders. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. Living and working in the same general area makes things simpler. We don't have to deal with the long train rides every morning. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to chat for a minute before getting down to business. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it has worked for us for years. We handle the work as it comes in and don't try to make things more complicated than they need to be. It’s just a small local operation in a quiet corner of Bhandup. We usually close up early on Saturdays to spend time with family or run our own errands around the local market area nearby.
