P. J. Enterprises

You can find P. J. Enterprises over in the Navjivan Commercial Building at 12/14 on Lamington Road. This part of Mumbai Central is always moving and there is never a quiet moment outside. Our office is just one of many in this big commercial block. It is a bit of an old building and the elevators are sometimes a little slow so we often just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. Inside it is just a plain workspace where we handle all our business. We have got piles of ledgers and folders everywhere because we still like to keep track of things on paper as well as on the computers. The light in the office is okay during the day but we have these old fluorescent tubes that flicker a bit sometimes. Lamington Road is a famous place for all sorts of trade and we fit right in with the rest of the shops and offices around here. We usually grab lunch from the small stalls nearby and then get back to work. It isn't a glamorous setup but it works for what we need to do every day. We don't have any big signs or flashy stuff. It is just us doing our job in a crowded corner of Mumbai Central. Some days the humidity makes everything feel heavy but we just put the fans on high and keep moving through our tasks until it is time to lock up.
