P H P Live is situated in Malad East, in the area known as 2nd Stage. Our building is number 25. It’s a typical Malad neighborhood with a lot of residential houses mixed in with small businesses like ours. Getting here can be a bit of a trek if you are coming from the station, but it’s a nice enough walk once you get off the main roads. Our office is on one of the lower floors, so we don't have much of a view, but it stays a bit cooler than the top levels. We have a few rows of desks with computers and some whiteboards that are usually covered in scribbles and lists. The furniture is all mismatched because we bought it at different times as we needed more seats. It’s not a place that was designed by an architect; it just grew naturally over time. We have a small sink in the back and a shelf where we keep some mugs and a jar of biscuits. The vibe is pretty relaxed. Most of the time we just have some music playing quietly in the background while we work on our projects. We don't have any big corporate policies or dress codes. We just show up in whatever is comfortable and get to work. It’s a straightforward, honest way to run a business in this part of town without any unnecessary complications.
