P. C. Enterprise

If you’ve ever walked through the narrow lanes of Bora Bazar in Fort, you know how crowded it gets. P. C. Enterprise is up on the third floor of building 18/20. It’s a bit of a climb, especially when it’s hot, but it’s definitely quieter up here than down on the street. We’ve got a small office filled with the usual stuff—calculators, ledgers, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. The area is full of history and old businesses that have been around for generations. We fit right into that. There’s no lobby or receptionist to greet you; you just walk in and someone will be sitting at a desk working. We spend our time managing orders and making sure things are moving along like they should. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, or the internet acts up, but that’s just part of working in an old part of Mumbai. We don't have a big marketing budget or any fancy brochures. We just rely on the work we do and the people we know. It’s a very practical environment. We usually eat lunch at our desks or go down to one of the small food stalls nearby for a quick bite. By the time we leave in the evening, the streets are still packed with people and goods being moved around. It’s a tiring but good way to make a living. We just keep our heads down and handle the business as it comes.
