Orion Infotech

Our shop, Orion Infotech, is located on the ground floor of Shop No 1 in the Siddaramappa Layout. This is in Govandi, right near the Hari Masjid. Being near the mosque means there are always people moving around outside. We handle a lot of different computer things here. People bring in their laptops when they stop working or when the screen goes dark. We also do some software stuff and internet work. The shop is not huge but we have enough space for the workbenches and some spare parts on the shelves. Sometimes the power goes out in the layout and we have to wait a bit, but mostly it is just steady work throughout the day. We see a lot of students from the local area who need help with their machines. It gets dusty because of the road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment. Govandi is a busy place and being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in with their heavy desktop towers. We started this place because we knew a bit about electronics and there was a need for it here. It is just a regular local shop where we try to fix things and help people out with their tech problems. We keep some cables and mice and other small things in stock too for when someone’s part breaks suddenly. It is just me and another guy most days.
