Orient Trade Impex

Orient Trade Impex is located at 142/144 Kazi Sayed Street in Masjid West. This part of Mumbai is always packed with people, handcarts, and vehicles. We are right near Musafirkhana and Crawford Market, which means the noise never really stops. Our building is one of those older structures that has seen a lot over the years. Inside, the space is filled with stacks of goods and the smell of whatever is being traded on the street that day. It might be spices, it might be textiles—the air always has a bit of a bite to it. We spend our hours coordinating with transporters and checking the arrivals. It is a very hands-on kind of environment. You have to be quick on your feet because things move fast around here. We don't have a reception area or any fancy chairs. If you come by, you’ll likely find us standing around a desk covered in shipping documents or talking to someone over a glass of cutting chai. The stairs up to our floor are a bit steep and narrow, which makes moving large items a real challenge sometimes. But we’ve been in this neighborhood long enough to know all the shortcuts and the best ways to get things through the crowd. It’s a messy, loud, and honest way to make a living, and we’ve grown to like the rhythm of Kazi Sayed Street. We just keep doing what we've always done right here in the heart of the market.
