Orient Enterprises

Our place is Gala No.73, inside the Arihant Industrial Estate. We are on Plot No.B/6 in Laxmi Nagar, which is just off the Link Road in Goregaon. It’s one of those spots that is a bit hidden if you don't know the turns, but we like it that way. Orient Enterprises is a small operation. We don't have a lot of room, so every bit of the gala is used for something. Goregaon has these pockets of industry everywhere, and we are just one of many. The Link Road is always a mess of traffic, so getting here can take a bit of time in the evenings. We spend most of our hours inside the unit, sorting things out and dealing with the paperwork. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The walls are a bit stained and the floor is concrete, nothing fancy at all. We have a small table for tea and a couple of chairs. Most of the day is spent on our feet. We’ve been part of this estate for quite some time now, so we know the security guys and the other shop owners pretty well. It’s a community of people just trying to earn a living. We don't really have a big story to tell. We just show up at B/6 and do the work until it’s time to go home.
