Open Source Deal

Our office is on the 2nd Floor of the Jagruti Building in Mahim, right on Kg Road. It’s number 12. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a break from the noise on the street, though you can still hear the horns honking occasionally. Open Source Deal is where we spend our days working on computers and talking to people about tech stuff. It’s a plain office with a few desks and way too many cables running along the floor. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us trying to make things work in our own way. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so watch your step if you come to visit. We started this because we liked the idea of working for ourselves in the Mahim area. The building is older, and sometimes the electricity flickers when it rains really hard, but we manage. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just try to get the work done right and hope our customers are satisfied with what we do for them. Lunch is usually someone going out to grab snacks from the stalls nearby. It's a pretty relaxed environment, though we do get busy when projects pile up. We’ve been in this building for a while now and the neighbors are all pretty friendly. It's just a regular workplace doing regular work every single day.
