You can find us at Madhusudan Society, unit number 4, on Prarthana Samaj Road in Vile Parle East. This part of Mumbai has a very specific feel to it, very traditional and busy in a local way. We aren't in a big glass office building; we’re just in a regular society where people live and work side by side. We’ve been doing our software work from this location for quite a few years now. The road outside is always full of life, with people heading to the station or shopping for groceries. We like being in the middle of all that energy. Our office is a simple room with our computers, some old books, and whatever we need to get our work done. We don’t have a marketing team or a sales department. We’re just a group of people who enjoy the technical side of things. We have a routine where we get our tea from a local vendor every day and chat for a few minutes before getting back to the screens. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We don’t use any corporate talk or try to sound like a massive corporation. We’re just Oorjam, a small group of folks in Vile Parle trying to do a good job with the projects we’re given. It’s hard work, and sometimes the Mumbai humidity gets to us, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
