Our place is at number 14, Gandhi Bhawan, tucked away in Chunam Lane. If you know the Lamington Road area, you know how crowded it gets with all the electronics shops and people everywhere. We are right next to the Lamington Police Station, which actually makes it easier to tell people where to find us. The lane is narrow, so bringing stuff in and out can be a bit of a headache with the scooters parked all over. It’s an old building, Gandhi Bhawan, with those heavy doors and narrow stairs that have seen better days. Inside, we just have our regular setup. It’s mostly desks and boxes piled up in the corners. The noise from the street stays with us all day, you can hear the horns and the shouting from the market even with the windows shut. We get a lot of walk-ins who are lost looking for the police station or another shop nearby. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and everyone on the lane knows us. We don't do much fancy decorating, just the basics to get the work done. The tea seller downstairs comes by twice a day, which is the highlight of the morning. It’s just a regular office life in a very busy part of the city, focusing on the export tasks we have to finish.
