Om Swasti

Om Swasti is right here in Worli West on Dr A B Road at 124. Being in this part of Mumbai means there is never a quiet moment. The traffic outside is constant, and the building we are in has seen a lot of history. Our space is simple and functional. We didn't spend much on decorations because we are usually too busy to look at the walls anyway. There is a small desk where we handle all the daily tasks and a few chairs for whoever stops by. Most of the people who come to see us are from the nearby offices or residential blocks. We have a routine that involves getting in early before the heat really sets in and staying until the work is finished. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the files and stuff we have gathered over the years, but it feels like home to us. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do; we just show up and handle whatever comes our way. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the internet acts up, and we just deal with it and move on. We keep a small kettle for making coffee and share it with anyone who has a long meeting with us. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we like being part of the Worli community. No big corporate rules here, just honest work every day. It’s not much, but it’s ours.
