Om Sai Hardware Stores

Our shop is located in Malad West, right in the Shiv Shakti Market area. We are in Shop Number 3 at Chimmanbhai House. It’s a busy part of the city, especially since we are quite close to Mindspace. You can usually find us surrounded by boxes of tools, pipes, and all sorts of hardware items. The shop isn’t very big, so things tend to get stacked up pretty high. We have been here at Om Sai Hardware Stores for several years. Every morning starts the same way—opening the shutters and moving some of the heavier items outside so there’s room to walk inside. We get a lot of workers and locals coming in for small parts or supplies they forgot. It can get a bit crowded in the afternoons when everyone is trying to finish their projects. We don’t have a computer system for everything; we still write many things down by hand in our ledgers. The market is always noisy with people shouting and vehicles moving about. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a tight-knit spot. Sometimes we run out of space for new stock, so we have to get creative with how we store things. We don't have fancy displays or air conditioning. It’s just a regular hardware store where you can find what you need for a repair. We just keep our heads down and serve the people who walk through the door and need something for their homes.
