It’s a typical busy Mumbai building where there is always someone coming or going. Being on the third floor means we have to climb the stairs quite a bit, but it gives us a little bit of a break from the noise of the street level. Our office is a working space through and through. You’ll see tools, spare parts, and computers in various states of being fixed. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. We handle a lot of different tech issues for people in the Lower Parel area. It’s a fast-paced part of the city, so people are usually in a hurry to get their gadgets back. We don't have a fancy reception area or a lounge for people to wait in. Most of the time, they just drop off their machines and we get to work. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and fiddling with small components. It’s a lot of concentration and sometimes a lot of frustration when a part doesn't fit, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t go for corporate talk or fancy words. We just tell people what’s wrong and how we can fix it. It’s a solid, honest way to run a tech shop in Mumbai. We just keep our heads down and get the repairs finished as quickly as we can.
