Om Embroidery

Om Embroidery is located in Ghatkopar West, specifically in the Kalina 13 area. Our shop is a bit small and it’s always filled with the sound of embroidery machines. There are threads of every color you can imagine hanging on the walls and stacked in bins. It is not a polished boutique or a big factory. It’s just a local workshop where we get things done. We spend most of our time bent over the machines or checking the patterns on the fabric. The lighting is bright because we need to see the tiny stitches. Sometimes our backs ache after a long shift, but that’s just the nature of the job. We don't have a website or a fancy sign outside. Most of our customers are people from around Ghatkopar or other small businesses that need some work done. We try to be honest about how long an order will take. If we have too much work, we might tell you to come back next week. We don't like to overpromise and then let people down. The neighborhood is always noisy and there’s a lot of traffic, but we just focus on the needles and the thread. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’ve been doing it this way for years. We aren't looking to become a giant company; we just want to keep making good embroidery.
