Okean International

Okean International is based out in Vikhroli West. It’s a decent area, quite a mix of residential and commercial spots. We don’t have a big street-front sign or anything, we just operate from our space here. The office is pretty standard, nothing too much to look at. We do international work, which means a lot of late nights and early mornings because of the time zones. It can be exhausting sometimes, but that’s the nature of the business. We spend a lot of time on emails and tracking shipments. Vikhroli has changed quite a bit recently with all the new buildings and the station getting busier, but our routine stays mostly the same. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy carpets and shiny glass walls. We’ve got old desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We just focus on getting things from one place to another without too much fuss. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we all have a bit of a moan about it while we wait for pages to load. It’s a small group of us working here. We know each other's families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just trading and logistics, really. We try to be sensible and keep the overheads low. That way we can just keep doing what we do without worrying too much. It’s just a regular life in a busy city.
