Intercontinental Marine Drives

We’ve been based out of room seven in the Ram Niwas building here in Mumbai for quite some time now. Dealing with marine drives and the parts that go with them is just what we do every day. It gets pretty loud around this part of Maharashtra, especially with all the traffic coming through, but we manage to get our work done regardless of the noise outside. The humidity near the coast doesn't always help with the metal parts, so we spend a lot of our mornings just checking on stock and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks, a lot of papers, and the usual phone calls that never seem to stop. Most days, we are just trying to keep up with the orders coming in from the docks. My uncle used to say that working near the water changes how you look at machines, and I think he was right about that. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us who know the technical bits. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get deliveries out on time, but that’s just Mumbai for you. We just keep the doors open and stay busy with the technical stuff. It's a living. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but Ram Niwas stays pretty much the same. It's familiar and it works for us.
