Octane Trends

You can find us at Powai Plaza, room 238-B, right in the Hiranandani area. Octane Trends has been here for a bit now. It’s a busy building with a lot of different shops and offices, so there is always someone walking by. We focus on clothes and whatever is moving in the market at the moment. It’s not a giant warehouse. It’s a compact space where we keep our inventory and handle the daily orders. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and checking sizes. Sometimes the deliveries show up late and we have to stay to sort everything out. The lighting in the plaza isn't always the best, but we make it work. We aren't trying to be a world-famous brand. We just like having good stuff available for people who live around Powai. It’s a decent place to work. We know the security guards and the folks at the coffee shop downstairs. When someone walks in, they're usually looking for something specific, and we try to find it in the stacks. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, keeping track of what’s in stock. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just sell what we think looks good and hope people like it. It’s a straightforward business in a busy part of town. Sometimes we get distracted talking to the neighbors, but the work always gets done. We just keep the racks full.
