Oceanic Laboratories Pvt Ltd is based over on Subhash Road, number 9, in Vile Parle East. We have been in this building for a long time. It’s a lab, so we have a lot of equipment around. It’s not the kind of place you come for a coffee and a chat, but we are friendly enough. We spend most of our time in white coats doing tests and looking at samples. The floors are kept very clean. It smells a bit like chemicals sometimes, which you get used to. Subhash Road is usually busy with people. We have a small team of technicians. We’ve all worked together for years. We don't have a big marketing department. We just do the lab work that comes in. Some days we are really busy and stay late. Other days it’s a bit quieter. We have a small break room in the back. The furniture is a bit dated but it’s comfortable. We aren't a giant corporation. We are just a local lab doing our job. We like being in Vile Parle. It’s a good community. People know us because we’ve been here so long. We have a small fridge for our lunches. Sometimes the lab coats get stained. It’s just part of the job. We keep focused on the samples and the reports we have to write for the clients.
