Oceanic Consultech

Oceanic Consultech is over on R.S. Sapre Marg, specifically in the Shahviri Building on the fifth floor. We’re in suite 37/41. Being up on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy with the work to look out the window much. The building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, and maybe a few quirks too. We do consulting work, which mostly means we spend a lot of time talking to people and trying to solve their problems. It’s a lot of brain work and sitting at desks. We don't have a fancy reception area with a dedicated person sitting there. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just gets up to say hello to visitors. We like it that way because it’s less formal and more direct. We’ve been in this spot for several years, and we’ve gotten to know the other people in the building. It’s a good mix of different businesses. Sometimes the elevator is a bit slow, so we take the stairs if we’re in a real hurry. We don't use corporate jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We just take the projects as they come and do what we can with them. It’s a practical way to run a business. We show up, we work, and we make sure the clients get what they need from us.
