Anyone who knows Mumbai knows that Kalbadevi is one of the most crowded and energetic parts of the city. It’s a maze of streets and old buildings. Our office is in one of those buildings. It’s not a modern glass tower. It’s an old-school Mumbai structure with narrow stairs and high ceilings. You can hear the noise from the street all day—the horns, the vendors, the people walking by. It’s got a lot of character. We don't have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and we are there. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the equipment and people, but we’ve made it work. The address 27 29 has been our home for a while. We don't use any corporate talk or try to sound like a giant multinational. We’re just a local business in the heart of Mumbai. Most of our furniture is practical and we don't have any art on the walls or anything like that. We just focus on the work. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the air conditioning is always working hard. It’s a real, busy place to work, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
