N.V. Diamond (Exports)

We are located at 1, Pearl Mansion, on 91, M.K. Road. It’s an old building that’s seen a lot of history. Being on M.K. Road means we are right in the thick of things. At N.V. Diamond (Exports), our work focuses on the shipping side of the business. It’s not like a retail shop where people come to browse for rings. Instead, we deal with bulk lots and specific orders that are headed overseas. The office is usually filled with the sound of sorting and the occasional hum of a machine. We spend a lot of time sitting at desks with good lighting to make sure we see every detail. It’s a lot of concentration. Sometimes the fans are buzzing overhead while we work through a stack of paperwork. We keep to ourselves mostly, focusing on the tasks at hand. The mansion has a specific feel to it, with its old corridors and high ceilings. We’ve been here for quite some time now and have a set routine. We arrive, check the overnight messages, and start sorting through the inventory. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what we know. We don't have a big marketing team. We just focus on the stones and the shipping documents. Most of our day is spent making sure the counts are right and the quality is what it should be. It’s just us doing our job in a quiet corner of a busy city.
