Nutech Engineers is based at 143-D in the Government Industrial Estate in Kandivali West. It’s a busy part of town, and the estate is always full of activity. We’ve got a workspace that is strictly for engineering tasks. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit because you’re likely to get a bit of grease on it. We have lathes, drills, and all the usual tools you’d expect to see in a shop like ours. The floor is concrete and showing its age, but it’s sturdy. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years or other businesses in the estate. We just focus on the drawings and making sure the metal is cut the way it’s supposed to be. Some days the power goes out or a tool breaks, and we just have to deal with it and move on. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We’ve been in Kandivali for a long time, and we’ve seen a lot of other shops come and go. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s noisy and hot in the summer, but that is just part of being an engineer. We aren't looking to change much about how we do things. We just like making parts that fit and work the way they should.
