Novelty Gift Items

We have been running Novelty Gift Items over here at 182/16 on 1st Main in Kandivali West for a while. It’s right on the corner of 1st Cross. It isn't a huge place, just a standard shop where we keep various knick-knacks and things people might want to give as gifts. The neighborhood is fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice for us. We spend most of our mornings just dusting the shelves and checking what needs to be restocked from the storeroom. There is no big story behind it, we just wanted to have a small business in the area. Sometimes people come in just to browse when they are out for a walk. We have all sorts of items crammed into the display cases, so you have to look closely to see everything. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a small stool near the door where we sit and watch the street. The shop doesn't look like those fancy mall stores, and we are perfectly okay with that. It's just a local spot for local people. If you live around Kandivali West, you probably have walked past us a dozen times already. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just prefer talking to people face to face. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us and the people who live nearby.
