Our office is situated in Singh Colony, which is part of the Parasiwadi area in Ghatkopar West. It’s a very typical Mumbai neighborhood. You see narrow lanes and houses built close together. We’re at number 5. It’s a bit of a hidden spot if you don’t know the colony well. Finding a place to park is almost impossible. Most of us just take the rickshaw from the station. The atmosphere around the office is very community-oriented. You see kids playing outside and neighbors chatting across the balconies. Inside, we’re mostly busy with procurement tasks and handling digital paperwork. It’s a small space, but we’ve organized it to fit everything we need. The walls are a bit plain. We have a lot of folders stacked up on the side. It’s not the quietest place because of the street noise, but we’ve grown used to it over time. We usually get our lunch from one of the local dabbas. Sometimes we go to the small canteen nearby. There’s a sense of real life here that you don't get in those big glass buildings in BKC. We work hard, but we also take time to share a joke or talk about the cricket match. It’s a very grounded way to run things. We’ve been in Ghatkopar for a good while and feel like we’re part of the local fabric. It is just a normal group doing their jobs.
