Noble Heritage

Down here near the BMC Head Office on Mohammed Ali Road, things are always moving. Noble Heritage is our small corner in the middle of all that chaos. We’ve been at 74 D for years. It's a crowded area, Masjid Bunder West, but it has a lot of soul. We deal in things that have a bit of history to them. It’s not a shiny showroom. We have stacks of items and the smell of old wood and dust, which I actually quite like. My father started this, and I just sort of took over when I got older. We don't spend money on big ads. Usually, people just drop in while they are out doing their regular shopping or business in the market. It gets very loud outside with the trucks and the carts, but that’s just how this part of town is. We drink a lot of tea and talk to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes we don't even sell anything, we just catch up on news. It's a family thing, really. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we all just try to get through the day. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful when you come up. We just do our work and go home. It’s the kind of place where things haven't changed much in decades.
