Nitin Gokhale

I've been running things here at Prabhadevi 41 for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get somewhere else. My name is Nitin Gokhale and this is just my small corner of the world. Most days start with a quick cup of chai from the stall down the street before I open up the doors. The space isn't huge, but it fits what I need to do. You won't find anything fancy here, just a lot of hard work and some old furniture that has seen better days. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to me. People come by, some stay for a chat, others are in a rush. That's just how life goes in this part of town. I try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way by noon. Prabhadevi has changed a lot over the years, with new buildings going up all around us, but this little spot stays pretty much the same. I like the rhythm of it. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s mine. I don't spend much time worrying about being the biggest or anything like that. I just focus on the tasks right in front of me and make sure I get them finished before it's time to head home. It's a simple way to spend a day.
