Nishan Power

Nishan Power is based out of Shukla Chawl in the Meetpada area of Nadinaka. We are right on Parole Road in Bhiwandi, over in the Thane district. It’s a real working-class area, and we fit right in. Our shop is part of the chawl, so it is a bit tight on space, but we make it work. There is always a lot of activity on Parole Road with trucks and bikes going past all day. We deal with power-related stuff, and it keeps us on our toes. There isn't anything fancy about our setup. We have our tools and parts, and we spend most of our time fixing things or talking to people from the neighborhood. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We have been here in Bhiwandi for a long time. People around Nadinaka know they can find us at Shukla Chawl. We don't have a website or do any big marketing. We just rely on doing our job and being here when people need us. It is a very hands-on kind of business. Some days the rain makes things difficult, but we just deal with it as it comes. We are just regular guys working in a regular shop. It’s a noisy, busy place, but it feels like home to us. We focus on the task at hand and try not to get distracted by anything else.
