Nila Gems Exporters

Nila Gems Exporters is based out of Shri Villa, which is D-10/75 in Chittaranjan Nagar. We are in the Rajawadi area of Vidhyavihar-East. It’s a bit more of a residential-feeling neighborhood compared to the city center, which makes it a little quieter for our work. We deal with gems that are heading to all sorts of places. Most of our time is spent in a back room that has good light. We sit there and look at stones for hours, sorting them by size and how they look. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing. Since we are in a villa, it doesn't feel like a cold, corporate office. It feels more like a house where a lot of business happens to take place. We have a small group of people working here, and we all just pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the door or packing up a box for shipping. The process of exporting involves a lot of documents and double-checking everything, so there are always papers on the table. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait around to send emails, but we just use that time to grab a snack. We aren't a giant company with hundreds of employees. We are just a local team handling stones and making sure they get where they need to go. It’s a steady job and we’ve been at it for a while now in this same spot.
