Our office isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit enough desks for the developers to sit and do their thing. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and trying to fix bugs that shouldn't be there in the first place. The commute is the hardest part for most of us, but being right by the station helps a bit once you actually get off the train. We usually go downstairs to the local stalls for cutting chai when we need a break from the code. There’s no fancy lounge or anything here, just computers and a lot of wires running across the floor. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the walls a bit damp, but that’s just part of being in an old Mumbai building. We handle software projects for different people, and most of our day is just spent typing away and hoping the servers stay up. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we all have a meeting in the small cabin, but we make do with what we have. It’s just a normal software shop doing its work in a very busy part of town.
