Down in Mumbai, we are over at A 35 4 in Maitri Park, Chembur. Newgen Software Technologies Ltd has its space here. Chembur is a bit different from the rest of the city, and we like being in this spot. The office isn't very big. It’s mostly just enough room for our team to sit and work on their laptops. We have a lot of discussions about software architecture and fixing bugs that pop up out of nowhere. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience. Outside, the weather is usually humid, so we keep the fans going all day. There’s a nice sense of community in Maitri Park. We see the same neighbors every morning. Our office isn't full of fancy furniture. We have what we need to get the job done. Sometimes we get frustrated when a project takes longer than expected, but that’s just part of the software world. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do good work and keep our clients happy. Usually, someone brings in snacks to share in the afternoon. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do work hard when there’s a deadline. You won't find any corporate buzzwords here. We just talk like regular people and focus on the technical tasks in front of us. It’s a decent place to spend the day and we appreciate the routine.
