New Rahimi Restaurant

We've been at New Rahimi Restaurant for a while now, right here in Mumbai. People usually find us easily because we're just opposite the 24 Karat Cinema and the MTNL office on SV Road. It gets pretty busy around here, especially in the evenings with all the traffic. We occupy space 704 in the New Killedar Society. It's not a fancy place, just somewhere to get a meal when you're hungry. We mostly focus on getting the food out on time. The kitchen is always noisy and the staff is usually rushing around, but that's just how it is. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the day is particularly packed, so it’s always a bit of a gamble. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just walk in because they live nearby or they're catching a movie. The tables are basic and we don't spend much on decor. We just keep the lights on and the stove going. If you're coming from the main road, just look for the big cinema sign and you'll see us nearby. It's a straightforward setup. We've seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We try to keep things clean enough, though it's an old building. It’s just us doing our job and trying to keep the customers satisfied.
