Being on the sixth floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding buildings in Mumbai, though it is mostly just more concrete and windows. Andheri West is a hectic place to work, but it has a lot of energy that keeps us going through the day. We are an advertising firm, so the office is often cluttered with sketches, old printouts, and coffee cups. It is not one of those polished agencies you see on TV; we have stacks of files on the floor and posters taped to the walls. The elevator in Raval Tower can be a bit slow during the morning rush, so we’ve learned to be patient. We spend a lot of time brainstorming or sitting around the big table in the middle of the room trying to figure out the next project. The noise from the street stays down there, but the office itself is rarely quiet with all the talking going on. We have a small pantry where we make tea, and that is usually the spot where most of the gossip happens.
