Neon Laboratories Ltd is split across a couple of spots, but you can usually find us around Yari Road or the Andheri East and West areas. We’ve been operating in this part of Mumbai for quite some time now. It’s a busy life here. The lab work keeps us pretty occupied, and there’s always something that needs testing or checking. It isn't a place for people who like to sit still. We have technicians coming in for different shifts, so the lights are on a lot of the time. The equipment takes up most of the space, so it’s not exactly a place for lounging around. We deal with a lot of samples and paperwork every single day. Sometimes the logistics of moving things between the different Andheri locations gets a bit tricky with the traffic, but we manage. We aren't a big, cold corporation; we're just a group of people who know how to run a lab. It’s a lot of routine work, following steps and making sure everything is recorded properly. We don't talk much about innovation or anything like that, we just focus on doing the tests correctly so the results are right. The neighborhood is noisy, but once you’re inside the lab, it’s mostly just the sound of the machines and people talking about data. It’s just what we do every day without much fuss. We've stayed in Andheri because it's where we started and we know the pace of life around here.
