Neel Print-N-Pack

Our spot is on the first floor of the Acme Industrial Estate in Sewri East. You have to walk up some narrow stairs to find Neel Print-N-Pack. The smell of ink is the first thing people notice when they walk in. It’s a strong smell, but I don’t even notice it anymore. We have a few big machines that take up most of the floor space in B-9. When they are all running at once, you have to yell to be heard. We handle a lot of paper and cardboard every day. My hands are usually stained with some kind of blue or black ink by noon. It doesn't wash off easily. We get all sorts of people coming in with different requests. Some want boxes, some want flyers. We just try to get the colors right. The lighting in the shop isn't great, so we use some extra lamps near the cutters. Sewri is a busy area, and finding parking for the delivery vans is a daily struggle. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and we often borrow tools or tape from each other. It’s a tight-knit place. We stay late most nights when there’s a big job due the next morning. It's just the way it goes in the printing business. You can't really rush the drying time.
