It’s a busy street, always lots of noise and people moving about. Finding the entrance can be a little tricky the first time because the building is older and tucked in with several others. Once you get up to the second floor, things get a bit quieter. We have rooms filled with books. It is not a very modern space. The wooden floors creak a bit and the paint is peeling in a few corners, but it holds everything we need. We mostly handle technical books and specialized stuff. It isn’t the kind of place where you’d come to browse for a novel. Most people who call or drop by already know exactly what title or author they are looking for. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the stock in the back rooms. The lighting isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is kept. Being in such an old part of the city has its charms, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We’ve been at 166 Nagdevi Street for quite some time now. It’s just how we operate. No big signs, just a small place doing its job day after day.
