Our branch is located in Shanti Park, specifically C2 224 in Rashmi Enclave. This is out in Mira Road, so it’s a bit of a journey for those coming from the main city. The enclave is a big residential complex, and our office is right in the middle of it. It’s quite convenient for the people who live nearby. We deal with securities and depository tasks, mostly involving a lot of form filling and data entry. The office isn't very large, so we have to be efficient with our space. We have desks pushed up against the walls and boxes of old records stacked in the corners. You can hear the kids playing in the park outside during the afternoons. Most of us bring our own lunch and eat together at the main table. It’s a very local atmosphere. We don't have a big fancy reception area; you just walk in and talk to whoever is at the front desk. Sometimes the rain makes the area a bit muddy, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We stay busy with the daily flow of paperwork. It’s about making sure the accounts are handled correctly and the records are kept safe. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards and the local shopkeepers all know us. It’s just a normal office doing its part. We usually finish up and lock the doors by six.
