You can find us at 6 118 Sahakar Nagar 5, in the Shell Colony area of Chembur, Mumbai. This is where National Organic Chemicals India Ltd is located. Chembur has a very specific feel to it, a mix of old residential buildings and industrial spaces. Our office here isn't anything special to look at. It’s a functional space where we handle the administrative side of the chemical business. There are plenty of files, a few old chairs for guests, and a lot of talk about shipping and logistics. We have been in this part of Mumbai for quite some time, so we know the local chai wallahs and the best routes to avoid the worst of the traffic, though that is hard to do here. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. It’s a lot of routine work, checking numbers and making sure the orders are being processed correctly. We are just regular people working a job. We don't have a corporate cafeteria, so we usually bring our own tiffins and eat together at one of the larger tables. Sometimes the building's elevator is out of service, and we have to take the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. We don't try to sound like a giant corporation. We are just a group of people in Chembur trying to keep the business running smoothly day after day.
