National Institute Of Industrial Engineering

We are based at 123 Pgp Hostel 1 which is part of the National Institute Of Industrial Engineering. This is out by Nitie Vihar Lake in Mumbai 400 087. The hostel building is where we spend most of our time. It’s not what you’d call a fancy office. We have some desks, a few chairs that squeak a bit, and a lot of cabinets filled with folders. The air around Vihar Lake can get quite humid, especially in the afternoons. We usually have the fans going full speed just to stay comfortable. You can see the water from some of the windows nearby. It’s a quiet spot compared to the rest of Mumbai. Most of the people around here are students or staff just going about their day. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. If you come looking for us, you just head to Hostel 1 and find room 123. We’ve been here for a while and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We handle the mail, we talk to people who drop by, and we keep the files in order. It’s just a regular workplace. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we just sit and wait. It’s part of the charm of being in this part of the city. We don't need much more than our pens and our ledgers. It is a simple place to work.
