We are located on the fifth floor of Yashwant Bhavan over in Lower Parel. It’s a busy area, always lots of traffic on Pandurang Budhkar Marg. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get through the paperwork. We deal with quality checks and professional standards, mostly for companies that need an extra pair of eyes on their processes. It started out small. Now we have a few desks and a lot of files. The elevator in this building can be slow sometimes, which is a bit of a pain when we're in a hurry. We spend a lot of time looking at data and making sure things are being done the right way. We aren't fancy consultants in suits. Most of us just wear regular clothes and drink too much tea while we work. It’s a lot of reading and checking boxes. People ask why we are in Mumbai when the name mentions Durg, but this is where the main office ended up. We talk to people from all over. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing. We try to be helpful without making things too complicated. If there's a problem with how a factory is running, we look into it. We don't use big words to explain things. We just tell it like it is. It's steady work and we've been here for a while. It’s just how we earn a living, making sure things work as they should.
