We’re up on the fourth floor, room 407, over in the Vikhroli Park Site area. This is in Hanuman Nagar here in Mumbai, Maharashtra 400 083. Being up on the fourth floor helps a little bit with the street noise. The building doesn't have an elevator that works all the time, so we get plenty of exercise walking up those stairs every morning. Our office is a basic one, really. We have our files, a couple of desks, and a window that looks out over the rooftops of the neighborhood. Nothing about this place is for showing off. At N N Shah Co, we just handle our business and keep things moving. Most of our clients are people from around this part of the city. We’ve known some of them for years. This is the kind of place where you know the security guard by name and the guy who brings the chai around at four o'clock. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the window during monsoon, so we have to keep the papers away from that side. That is just how it is. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm. We’re just a small outfit doing our work in a corner of Vikhroli. It’s been this way for a long time, and we don’t see any reason to change it. Just honest work day in and day out. We don't have fancy furniture, just what we need to get the job done.
