If you’re looking for N N Patrawala Co, we’re tucked away in Room 11 on the first floor of building 31 33. It’s right there on 6th Lane, just off SP Road in Nagpada. Mumbai can be a bit of a maze, especially around here with all the narrow lanes and people rushing about. Our space isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. You have to walk up the stairs, and it’s usually pretty lively in the hallway with the other tenants. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. My father started things off, and we just kept it going. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy working to worry about that right now. It gets hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always running. You can hear the noise from the street below, the horns and the shouting, it’s just part of the atmosphere. We deal with a lot of regular folks who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes they just stop by for a chat while we work. It’s a bit cramped with all the papers and equipment, but we know where everything is. You learn to work in small spaces when you’re in this part of town. It’s a solid place to be. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every day. No big mystery to it. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings.
