Mumbai Central is always moving at a fast pace, and we are right in the middle of it here at Cipla. Most people know the name from the boxes of medicine they see, but for us, it is just the place where we come to work every single day. The station is so close that you can always hear the trains and the noise of the crowds if you step outside for a second. It gets really busy around here during the morning rush hour, so most of us try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. The building has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the old walls and the way things are set up inside. It is not like those brand new glass buildings you see in other parts of the city these days. We have our little routines, like getting tea from the same spot or talking about the local cricket scores before the shift starts. There is a lot to do, handling all the logistics and making sure things are moving to where they need to go across the country. It is a lot of desk work and phone calls, and the day usually goes by pretty fast because there is no time to sit idle. Sometimes the rain makes the whole area around Mumbai Central a bit of a muddy mess, but we manage somehow. We are just regular people working in a very old part of the city. It is just another day of keeping things organized and making sure the supplies are ready.
