We are based in Room No 16 E 0 in Dharavi, right near the post office in Mahim East. It is a small office in a very busy part of Mumbai 17. If you are looking for Multilink Management Consultancy, you have to look for the sign near the narrow entrance. It is just one room where we do everything. We have our desks crammed in there along with all the files and a small cupboard for tea supplies. It’s loud outside because that’s just how Dharavi is, but we don't mind the energy of the neighborhood. We have been here for quite a while now, helping people with their management and paperwork needs. We don't have any corporate branding or fancy mission statements on the walls. It is just a place where we sit and work through the problems our clients bring to us. Most of the people we work with are local business owners themselves. We talk to them like neighbors because that is what they are. On some days, it gets very crowded in the room, and on other days, it’s just us and the radio. We do our own filing, we answer our own phones, and we make our own tea. It’s a very hands-on way to run a consultancy, and it keeps us grounded in the reality of the city. We don't need a polished image to do good work.
