Multibase A Dow Corning Company

Up on the 27th floor of the Mayflower building in Hiranandani Meadows, you’ll find where we work at Multibase A Dow Corning Company. The address is 2705, and being that high up gives us a pretty decent view of Thane, especially when the clouds are low. It’s just off Pokhran Road 2, which can be a real mess in the evenings, but from up here, it looks quite peaceful. The office is kept fairly tidy, though there are always boxes of samples or old reports stacked up in the corners. It’s a big complex with lots of other companies, so there is always a crowd at the elevators during the morning rush. Inside our space, the air conditioning is usually set a bit too high, so most of us have a sweater hanging on the back of our chairs. We don't do much in the way of decorating; the walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and a few notes taped up here and there. Most of the day is spent on the computers or having short meetings around the central table. It’s a professional enough spot, but it feels like a real place where people actually work rather than a showroom. We often grab lunch from the places downstairs in the Meadows area, which is a nice break from the office lights. It’s a solid place to be based, even if the commute through Maharashtra traffic can be a bit long.
