Mukesh Collection Gift Novelty

Mukesh Collection Gift Novelty is located at Shop No 4 in the Vikrant Building. This is in Ghatkopar East, which is a busy area but our little corner is somewhat manageable. We’ve got a lot of variety in the shop, hence the name 'collection'. It’s mostly novelty items, things that are meant to look nice on a shelf or a desk. We have these small water fountains and some artificial flowers that stay colorful forever. The shop is quite narrow, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over with your bag when you walk through the aisles. I’ve broken a few things myself while cleaning, which is always a shame. We don't really do much advertising. People just see the shop while they are walking to the market and pop in. The Vikrant Building is an older structure, so we have some issues with the plumbing now and then, but we make do. It’s mostly just me running the place, though my son helps out on the weekends when he isn't busy with his studies. We try to keep the prices honest so that the local people keep coming back. It's not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. Every day is pretty much the same, just waiting for the next customer to come in and find something they like.
