Mudra Gifts

Mudra Gifts is located inside the Reema Complex, specifically units 203 and 205, in the Irla area of Ghatkopar East. We ended up with two units because one just wasn't enough to hold everything we wanted to keep in stock. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling. I sometimes worry about how I’m going to get things down from the top shelf without a ladder, which we keep tucked behind the main counter. Ghatkopar East is a busy place, and being in the Reema Complex means we see a lot of people passing through for different errands. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Mumbai. We just want to have what people in the neighborhood are looking for. It might be a frame, a small statue, or something for a housewarming. We spend a lot of time talking to the regular customers who stop by just to say hello even if they aren't buying anything that day. It makes the day go by faster. The lighting in the complex can be a bit dim in the afternoons, but we keep our shop bright. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything in two units, but we've gotten a rhythm down over the years. We just keep doing what we're doing, day in and day out, making sure the shelves stay full.
