Mr Shyamkant Joshi

I am Shyamkant Joshi. I run my shop out of Borivali West. The address is Shop No A 701 in the Akruti Co Opera building on RV Road. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. The shop isn't huge, but I’ve made use of every inch of space. I have my main counter where I sit and handle all the customers and the paperwork. Akruti is a well-known building in the area, so it’s not too hard for people to find me. I’ve been here for several years now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but I’m usually too busy to worry about that. I focus on the work at hand. It’s just me and maybe one helper on the busy days. We don’t have a website or a big marketing plan. People come to us because they know we’re here and we’ve been here. It’s a very traditional way of running a business. I open up early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Sometimes I stay later if there’s a lot to catch up on. It’s just a standard shop on a standard road in Mumbai. No bells and whistles, just a guy doing his job every day. I try to keep my customers happy by just being honest about what I can do and when I can do it.
