Mr Shrikant Kuvalekar

Shrikant Kuvalekar here. I’m based out of Girgaon. To be exact, you can find me at Room No 29 in the Khatri Chawl. It’s on 1Th B Cross, 26Th Main, Sector 1. If that sounds like a lot of directions, it’s because this part of the city is tucked away. The chawl is a lively place to be. There’s always someone talking in the corridor or the sound of someone cooking nearby. My room is my office. It’s small, but I’ve managed to fit a good-sized table and all my equipment inside. I’ve been in this spot for a long time. It’s got history, and I like that. I don’t have fancy air conditioning, just a window that lets in a bit of a breeze if the weather is right. The work I do is mostly administrative and keeping things on track for my clients. I don't have a receptionist, so when the phone rings, I’m the one picking it up. It’s a very hands-on way to work. Some might find it a bit cramped, but for me, it’s just home. I know all the local shopkeepers and we help each other out when we can. It’s a community, not just a business location. That’s just the way we do things around here in Girgaon. It’s been my base for years and I know every shortcut in the neighborhood. I try to get things done early before it gets too hot.
