We are based up on the eighth floor in Ashok Nagar. Mumbai is a crowded place, and our little corner here is where we manage our consulting work. It is a simple office, really. Just a few rooms with enough space for our computers and a table for when we need to sit down and talk through a problem together. You can see a bit of the city from the window, though it is mostly just other buildings and the tops of trees. The lift in the building is a bit slow sometimes, so we have to plan ahead if we are meeting someone. Most of the work we do involves a lot of calculations and technical drawings. We have a couple of people who have been with us for years, so we all know how the others work. It makes things easier for everyone in the long run. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just help out with the projects that come across our desks. There is always noise from the street below, but we have gotten used to it over time. It is just part of being in this part of town. Sometimes we stay late when things get busy, but mostly we try to keep regular hours. It is a decent spot to spend the day, and we keep things pretty casual among ourselves. It works for us and keep us moving forward.
